For our discussion this week, let’s consider further the role that benefits play in recruiting. Put yourself in the role of your organization’s recruiter, what benefits might you use to attract the generation of workers (under 45 years of age)? How do the benefits differ from those that you might use to attract workers who belong to the baby boom generation?
Remember that this is a discussion; therefore, you don’t need to include references. However, if you conduct research to support your content in the forums, you must use proper citations in the content. The citations and references must be listed according to APA standards.<o:p>

In week 2 we examine several important topics for our HRM practice. The issues related to diversity and multiculturalism and questions about how HRMs can create a synergistic environment while being legally compliant with our labor laws are paramount for us to consider. Refer back to Figure 2.1 in Chapter 2. This week we’ll be focused on and thinking about the issues directly associated with the “SOCIETY” and “LABOR MARKET CHANGES” bubbles. We discussed how as HRMs we need to be hyper-aware of societal changes as well as demographic changes in the overall labor market as we develop and implement our organizational HR Plan policies. And don’t forget, the policies and plans we implement as HRMs affect our Customers and our stake holders! The quote that begins on the bottom of page 3 reads, “This diversity leads to profitability and the ability to better serve customers.” As HRMs our goal is to develop and implement a dynamic HR plan that reflects our society. Doing so results in a successful organization which values employees and clients alike.
And please make sure you have a firm grasp of the difference between diversity and multiculturalism.
Question 1: Benefits of a diverse workforce

What policies would you develop as an HRM to ensure your organization achieves these benefits? Use the articles and resources provided to support your ideas.
Don’t forget to read over and then respond to a colleague’s ideas. Be sure to include citations from at least two sources you used to develop your responses!
Question 2: Evaluating diversity programs
